Using the latest in digital technology, we are now able to mix the show remotely from an Ipad! All the audio goes through a high quality digital console, but the console can then be controlled from an Ipad. This means when the mixer and gear have to go side stage your mix does not suffer. We can mix the whole show from a cocktail table out front. Or we can walk on stage and with the musicians and adjust the monitors in real time. We can also save mixes and settings. So if you work with us more than once we can recall all mixes and settings. Did we mention that the console has eq, compression, gate and limiting on every channel and that it's all savable as well? Think of the time and headaches you could save by working with us.
In keeping with our quest for maximum fidelity, we take the time to tune every room and stage we work in and on. Using a DBX driverack and calibration mic, the system listens to pink noise and automatically EQ's the main speakers. This makes an amazing difference. Especially in rooms not designed for a live band. We also check each monitor mix for feedback frequencies and use graphic EQ's to eliminate any problems.The driverack also handles compression, crossover, limiting and feedback suppression duties for the main speakers.
